Driver questions

A few things drivers ask.

What do I need to drive for you?
Your own tractor, a valid licence and clean abstract, a FAST card for the cross-border runs, and drayage or cross-border experience. You bring the truck; we bring the chassis, trailers, containers, and the freight.
Do I need my own trailer or chassis?
No. This is power only. You bring the tractor and we supply the trailing equipment, including the chassis and containers for the drayage work.
How and when do I get paid?
On time, by direct deposit. We agree on the pay terms with you at onboarding, so there are no surprises later.
What lanes will I run?
Steady cross-border and domestic lanes across Canada and the US, with a dispatch team you can reach. Plenty of it is container drayage and intermodal truck legs, including work off the Port of Montreal and the area rail ramps. We assign and dispatch the freight, so your tractor keeps working instead of hunting the spot market.
Is Setara Transport part of Setara Logistics?
Yes. Setara Transport is the trucking arm of the Setara Group. Setara Logistics handles freight forwarding and customs; we run the trucks.
